Steven Meisner

Steven Meisner is a 13-year law enforcement veteran and current Community Crisis Intervention Team member, Field Training Officer, and is a Training Unit member with the Green Bay Police Department. Prior to joining the Green Bay Police Department he spent five years with the Sturgeon Bay Police Department and two years as a correctional officer with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. Throughout his career he has also served on Green Bay Police Department and Sturgeon Bay Police Department’s Honor Guard, Sturgeon Bay Police Department’s Marine Patrol and Sturgeon Bay Police Department’s Special Response Team.

Meisner is an adjunct instructor at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and certified by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Justice to instruct in General Law Enforcement, Emergency Vehicle Operations, Law Enforcement Officer Wellness, Operating while Intoxicated / Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Scenario’s and Vehicle Contacts. In addition, Meisner is a certified Taser instructor. He holds an associate degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement and has attended numerous trainings in varying disciplines.
