Roughly every 53 hours, a police officer dies in the line of duty in America. An overall discussion about what factors kill law enforcement officers on duty (violent assault, stress, car accidents, and police suicide). The course will talk about officers killed during a violent assault. Is the most likely officer to die the rookie officer on a call at midnight on Saturday night? No.
