Colleen Belongea

Colleen Belongea’s full-time law enforcement experience spans over 22 years serving at the Town of Menasha Police Department and the Green Bay Police Department. Her experience includes active field work as a patrol officer, field training officer, community police officer, mounted patrol officer, SWAT officer, field training supervisor, patrol lieutenant, shift commander, School Resource Supervisor, Detective Supervisor and Training Supervisor.

Throughout her career she has been recognized with the honors: Class President for Executive Development Institute, March 2003 to March 2004; Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor Award, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, May 1996; Respect for Law Award, Thursday Breakfast Optimist Club, 1996; Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, 1988.

Currently, Colleen serves as an instructor for a variety of academic classes and as a tactical trainer within the Criminal Justice Division. As a professional, her goal is to combine 20+ years of law enforcement experience with the love for teaching in a progressive/reputable educational setting and to function as a vital part of a collaborative educational team in preparing outstanding criminal justice professionals. She looks forward to work with all of you.
